Surface and interfacial tension measurement with the PAT-2S

Measurement principle

From image to scientific insight.

The PAT-2S captures the contour of a drop or bubble with high optical precision. Advanced image analysis and Young-Laplace evaluation transform the recorded geometry into quantitative information about surface tension, interfacial tension, contact angle and interfacial rheology. The integrated measurement platform ensures reproducible data acquisition and efficient experimental workflows.
